Floor Plans Cont. 4/24

 This is my library floor, I had decided to put in a mezzanine floor, which will be for the kids (study/reading area). I placed that space in an area in which Ill get the most natural light. I also decided to make it a mezzanine floor so that some natural light can also travel into the rest of the library below.

This is the lecture hall. It can fit over 400 ppl. This is the lowest part of my building, buried underground. But what I had done is created a space in the library which looks into the lecture hall. Which may help me bring in some natural light into the lecture hall.

Here is a quick section I been doing as I do my plans, this is just a diagrammatic section to scale. Once I complete the floor plans, I will do a complete section then.

At this point I have the typical floor plan and the mosque floor plan pretty much done. I am having some difficulties filling up space in the school lobby. Im also trying to figure out the library and the lecture hall.

I figured out that I have space for about 322 people in my mosque. And space 56 students on each floor to pray, I also will have prayer spaces in the classrooms.

Layouts of Spaces

So far, I have been working on laying out my spaces. I am still trying to figure out my 2nd means of egress, as well as the layout of my underground spaces. I also need my 4th floor, which will be the cafeteria, gym, and outdoor space for the kids. I am currently working on adding in the stairs and elevators with proper dimensions at the moment, and finishing up layout the rest of my spaces.

Just some quick sketches I been working on. I have my mosque in one structure, which tilts towards the East, Mecca. And my school in another structure which is facing West, towards the park. I decided I will put my Lecture halls and my Library underground. And the library can be accessed by the public, therefore I may make a plaza that goes below grade and enters the library. This is not final, so I will be making a study model soon, and keep on massaging the overall building mass, and starting on some floor plan layouts.
